Former Cobb County Sheriff Bill Hutson has endorsed Jonathan Page for Cobb County Commission District 2.

“I am pleased to support and endorse Jonathan Page for Cobb County Commission District 2 in the Republican Primary on May 24th,” said Hutson.

“I am impressed with the fact that Jonathan is a lifelong resident of Cobb County, owns a small business in East Cobb, and is raising his family here. His vision for the future of a Cobb County where his own sons will want to raise their own families here is the leadership we need,” said Hutson.

“For Cobb County voters who want traffic relief, improved public safety, lower taxes, and above all else, a Commissioner who will work to protect our quality of life, Jonathan Page is the leader we’re looking for,” said Hutson.

“In recent years, local elections have become more about ‘politics’ and less about service, but Jonathan’s leadership style is that of a small business owners concerned primarily with serving the citizens of Cobb County. He is not a politician but a public servant,” said Hutson.

“I hope my friends and neighbors in Cobb County will vote for Jonathan Page for Cobb County Commission District 2,” said Hutson.

The Marietta Daily Journal noted Sheriff Hutson’s endorsement of Jonathan Page for County Commission.

“Having been born and raised in Cobb County, and now raising my own family here, I know that Bill Hutson has been a symbol for strong public safety, honesty, and integrity in office.” “He is a model for servant leadership and for serving in office without becoming a ‘politician,’” said Page. “I am honored by Sheriff Hutson’s endorsement.”
Jonathan Page, a Cobb County native, and local business owner, qualified on Thursday, March 10, 2016 for the Republican nomination for Cobb County Commission District 2 in the May 24 Primary Election.

“As a native of Cobb County, my wife, Mariana, and I chose to raise our four sons in Cobb County because of the community that has embraced our family, enabled our businesses to thrive, and provides great parks, schools, and a dynamic environment to raise my family. I’m running for Cobb County District 2 to use my background to benefit the community during this unique time of growth and prosperity. We need leadership that is focused on getting the job done for the community and not personal agendas. I will work to keep Cobb the best place in Georgia to live, raise a family, grow a business and create jobs,” said Page.

“I’m running for County Commissioner with the goal of being a servant leader for our community. In my law practice, I’ve found the most rewarding challenges in bringing people together for a common goal. We must strive to keep this District as remarkable as it was when I grew up here while working together to manage the growth. My family prospers as the business clients we serve prosper and our community prospers when our local businesses are strong. As your next county commissioner, I’ll put our shared goals and values first, so that we can protect what is special about Cobb County,” said Page.

Jonathan Page is an attorney and small business owner. He was born at Kennestone Hospital, attended Cobb County schools, and graduated from Georgia Tech and the Georgia State University School of Law. Jonathan and Mariana Page have four sons, Ryan, 15 years old; Harry, 6 years old; Jonathan, Jr. 4 years old; and William, 3 years old.
